Really, who does that kind of thing to a poor defenceless piece of gum. I went to the table to get my last half piece of gum and found it had been punched right through the middle. I was shocked and disgusted. I immediately did the only thing a normal person would do. I ran downstairs and confronted little brother and asked him why, why would he do such a thing to my gum?! He then proceeded to tell me a fascinating tale about a boy with a serious problem. He had his friend come over to help him hole punch colored paper so he could ask our next door neighbor to the dance. His friend started off doing alright and was content punching various shades of red, green, and blue paper. But after a while the hole punch went to his head and he started to dream of punching so much more than just paper! Poor little brother turned his back for one minute and before he knew it his friend was punching cereal boxes (still with cereal in them!) and M&M bags (still with M&M's in it) and anything else he could get his hands on! My poor little half stick of gum was a victim in the massacre. I had seen the evidence of the hole-punch-madness upstairs and forgave little brother and we both marveled at how perfectly the hole had been punched! I did not know it was even possible to hole punch gum.

Other activities of the week included playing sand volleyball! It was awesome and the sand was amazing, there was even a single street lamp up so we could play to our hearts content. Which really was only till about 10 p.m. as our toes were starting to become numb in the cold and slightly damp sand after playing in it for hours :) Friday was spent playing with my cousin and her dog Lucy. Our dogs had a play date and it was a blast. Tucker my cute black and white springer spaniel loved playing with Lucy her pitbull mix. Haha who knew they would get along so well. We took them for a walk where they were both loved and adored by the neighborhood kids, who grabbed their tails, and ears and tried to feed them dandelions! It was really cute and both the dogs did great with the kids. The walk was great, except poor Tucker cannot walk in a straight line to save his life (yeah that's all my fault, my problems become his problems!) so he kept bouncing of Lucy while weaving from side to side. It was quite comical. Lucy wised up a little and learned to weave with him instead of having him ram into her side every so often. We took them back to my house and let them run around the yard while we chatted. They were so funny to watch as they chased sticks, Tucker always ended up with it, and they played in the water, well Tucker mostly played in it and Lucy simply tried to get a drink. Turns out Tucker-Bug doesn't like to share his swimming pool! It was a great day and my cousin was so amazed that our dogs got along so well. She said Lucy normally doesn't get along with other dogs since she doesn't really know how to play with other dogs. I told her I guess it takes two socially awkward dogs to become friends!
