Picture Journey

Over the past couple of days I have decided to finally print some pictures to put into frames that we got for our wedding over a year ago... I thought it would be a fairly easy process. Pick pictures, order pictures, go pick them up, and put into frames. Turns out it was/is a lot more complex than that. As I sat down to look through our wedding pictures, I realized I had forgotten how STUNNING they are! Our photographer Cecily Cook is AMAZING! Seriously, go check out her stuff. https://www.facebook.com/#!/chaosandblissphotography. Or just search Chaos&Bliss Photography.

After spending a couple hours drooling over our pictures, I finally got is narrowed down to like 20 that I was considering putting in my frame that holds 7 photos. I’m a visual kind of person so I decided in order to be able to pick which 7 I would use, I needed to see which ones looked best in the frame. So I opened good old Word and pasted pictures into it so I could arrange them to see how they looked and which ones I liked best together.

Another hour (or 3 with a dinner break of course) later I had found my 7 photos to print. I brought up the Walmart photo website and went to upload my pictures so I could place my order to print them. I waited patiently for the upload and added them to my cart. I went to the size options, and picked 4x6 for the two main photos, and then…. Wait. What? Where is the choice for picture size 2.5x3 hmmm must be wallet size. Ok two of those. Now…. Arg what about picture size 3.5x3.5, or 3x4, or 3x3.5. What about those options??

The photo center at my local Walmart was already closed by now so I decided to use their friendly free chat help service. Turns out Walmart DOESN’T have everything, they can’t get me a picture size 3x3.5. Fine I’ll go somewhere else. Turns out that pretty much everywhere agrees with Walmart, and they don’t want to print all my sizes either. Stupid picture frame!! Who makes dumb photo sizes that no one wants to print for me. Yes the girl in slot size 3.5x3.5 is lovely, but she just doesn’t fit the color scheme for the photos I already picked.

So my quick, easy, fun, photo project turned out to be a long bumpy journey to disappointment, well except for the fabulous walk down memory lane I took before I jumped onto the “fun, photo, project bus.”

1 Year!

Well I didn't do very well with the whole "I'm going to update my blog" thing. Now almost one year later, here I am to try again. Round 2! It's crazy to think that I've now been married a full year, the time has flown by so fast. It was a really great summer this year though, being married is the greatest thing ever. We've had lots of adventures such as sailing (of course), fishing, camping, swimming, IFly, drive-ins, playing with horses, and don't forget our house which is kind of like a zoo. Jon teased once that we should charge admission. As of right now we have 3 snakes, 2 ducks, and a cat. It's really not that bad, it is quite fun really. Plus our duck Bruce Willis has recently started laying eggs, which adds even more excitement to our lives! We will see how duck eggs compare to chicken eggs, one thing is for sure, they are a lot smaller!

Highlights of the last year would be that I graduated from Weber State with my B.S. degree! It is so crazy being graduated, but I LOVED not having to sign up for classes this fall, and loved not paying tuition. It feels like one really long summer though! I've been really busy though, so it's not like I am enjoying all this "free time." or anything. I did an internship this summer and they offered me a part time job down there. So every other day I get to work at an equestrian center where I work with mustangs, yup that's right, I have the best job ever! I love horses and have since I was a little girl, but I didn't ever have many opportunities to be around horses except at fairs and the rare trail ride, so this is like a dream come true. It gives me a good break from working in an office too.

Being married one full year to the greatest husband ever would be another highlight for sure. :) endure with me while I brag a second with my "why my husband is the greatest list."
Reason 1. My husband does the dishes. (he knows I rreeealllllly dislike washing dishes, so he does them for me 99% of the time)
2. He washes and waxes my car to make it look pretty. (This used to not be on the list, I didn't really understand the whole point of spending 26 hours washing, waxing, buffing, and drying a car by hand, really it takes 5 minutes to go through the drive in washer. But now I am becoming very appreciative of it... most days)
3. He mows the lawn every Tuesday. ( The mower is a push one that doesn't drive itself and we have a hill along the whole side of our house, so this is really, really great.
4. He appreciates my cooking and eats everything I make. ( This always make me feel so good, because he has not once complained about anything that I've made, this builds a girl's confidence in her cooking so she can become more adventurous and try to make things other than spaghetti and hamburger helper evey other day.)
5. He ALWAYS opens the car door for me. (It is the greatest having him open the door for me, granted I had to be trained to wait and be patient for him to open the door, but now sometimes when I am alone I forget to open the door for myself and sit and just wait!)
6. He is very caring, sweet, and loving, he always is trying to make sure that I am happy.
7. Speaking of which, he makes me laugh every single day! Sometimes even when I don't feel like laughing. Tickling should be against the rules on Mon, Wed, and Thursdays! Some days my ribs just need a break.
8. He let me get ducks! (Well he didn't make me take them back at least ;-) and they are super cute!)
9. He sends me a text every morning. (There is nothing better than being told every morning how beautiful you are, especially when you know he saw your crazy bed head right before he left.)
and finally #10 He loves me as much as I love him, which I know is a whole super lot!

All New

It's been far too long since I've updated this! Whoops, things just got a little busy with planning a wedding and all. Yup that's right, i'm now a married woman     :-) It is the greatest thing ever and I love my husband so much! Since SOOO much has happened I'll try and update piece at a time, and hopefully I'll be able to remember as much as possible, especially since I didn't even write in a journal or anything! Terrible, but I have decided to try again and do better, If I won't journal, I will Blog, no more slacking.

So let's see where to pick back up. May was the last time, but I really can't think of anything else exciting in May, except when my husband, then boyfriend, came back from a longer than normal week of army training, he came home early and surprised me by bringing a HUGE vase of yellow flowers to my office, it was so great!

June, June, June.... Hmmm in June i'm sure I did something, Probably volleyball, I think some flag football, and a painting service project with my ward, where a couple of us got into a paint fight. That was pretty fun. One of the funnest things in June was the Mud Volleyball tournament I played in with my friends! It was AWESOME. We played in this giant mud pit, and everytime you dove for the ball, mud went everywhere! It was so great, mud and volleyball are genius together. The only downside was that contacts and mud don't mix very well. But it was a blast! Totally going to do it again. Mud Monkeys, my team, even took like 8th out of 24 or so teams. We got t-shirts too. After that we all went to a friends house for a bon fire, and it so happens that it also ended up being the night I got engaged!! :-) to be continued...

I LOVE Pirates!

It's true, I love pirates which is fitting since my nickname for my boyfriend (Mor-leidr) means pirate :-) anyway, I went to see the fourth pirates last night, and I really loved it, I wanted to see it again right after it was over. Had it not been after midnight I may just have done that! I'm planning on seeing it at least 2 more times. The rest of my week went well. Tuesday I was planning on going to yoga, I even had a yoga buddy to go with, but at the last minute my family talked me into going for a drive with them up to see Causey since we had heard that it was super full and flowing over! The ride up there was beautiful! The river was flowing really fast and there was a lot of campgrounds that were flooded, at one spot the water had even come up and was on the road.Needless to say the reservoir was really, really full!! we had a great time and I did not even regret missing yoga a little. I was pretty hyper on the drive, I blamed it on all the fresh air and the pretty greenness and the rushing water! We spent most of the night laughing and I discovered I really do have a speech impediment and that it is slightly contagious. Really I touched little brother and the very next words out of his mouth sounded exactly like something I would say, " wow I almost broke my leg on my ankle." When what he really meant was that he almost broke his leg, or ankle on a pine cone! Haha mom asked me if Mor-leidr knows about my speech problem, I told her he knew somewhat, but I'm not sure he knows the full extent of exactly how bad it can be, especially when I'm high on fresh mountain air! The sunset that night was absolutely amazing! Once again I wished I had my camera and settled for taking a couple with my phone, my cute old non-high-tech phone. On the way home we also stopped to look at some elk. This pretty good size 4-point came up pretty close and I wondered if it were friendly, so I jumped out of the car and offered it a handful of grass, which it excitedly snatched from my hand! Woo hoo, score! so I continued to feed it and pet it on it's nose and cheek. Little brother jumped out of the car and joined me. We both decided that feeding and petting an elk is really cool, but a little intimidating compared to petting little baby cows. After it had jumped around waving its antler at us for awhile, we decided to get back in the car. It was very cool, and no I can't reveal where this elk was at... it's a secret! Wednesday I had work and then a volleyball tournament, we played pretty good but unfortunately lost and were eliminated from the tournament. It was a fun season though and even though we lost like every game, I think we all had a fun time. After that we all went to our ward volleyball and had a great night playing over there. I was able to talk my cousin into coming over finally and she had a great time! Now hopefully I'll be able to talk her into coming to more things. Thursday I was a bum after work and all I did was come home and sit on my couch and read. :-) but it was a really really good book and I could not put it down. Plus on a rainy day like it was, it was prefect for snuggling in my blanket and reading.

That brings us to last night where I got called in to work. My co-worker was like are you really sure you don't mind working. I was like uhh no I really don't mind! It saved me from staying home and cleaning my room and being semi-bored all day. Plus I like my job and got to talk to lots of people and it made the day go by quick. So quick that I had just enough time to run home and change for volleyball tournament #2. That time my team did better and we won the game, haha but I had been keeping myself busy all week and had to leave early before our next game. I had planned on having dinner with my friends before we went to the movie, but turns out the it was fathers and sons this weekend so mom was home alone. I decided to have dinner with her instead so she wasn't lonely. I got back just in time from dinner to run to the movie which I made just in time. Plus I got a phone call from Mor-leidr!!! SUPER YAY we got to talk my whole drive to the theater which was great :-) till I lost signal in the cement parking garage. Whoops didn't really see that one coming. I was bad and didn't even shoot him a text till after I got out of the movie. But as I said I met my friends just barely in time! and once again the movie was great!! It seemed to fly by too, who knew that a 2 1/2 movie would go by so fast, it was over before I knew it. Sigh, I love Pirates! :-)

Who hole punched my gum!?

Really, who does that kind of thing to a poor defenceless piece of gum. I went to the table to get my last half piece of gum and found it had been punched right through the middle. I was shocked and disgusted. I immediately did the only thing a normal person would do. I ran downstairs and confronted little brother and asked him why, why would he do such a thing to my gum?! He then proceeded to tell me a fascinating tale about a boy with a serious problem. He had his friend come over to help him hole punch colored paper so he could ask our next door neighbor to the dance. His friend started off doing alright and was content punching various shades of red, green, and blue paper. But after a while the hole punch went to his head and he started to dream of punching so much more than just paper! Poor little brother turned his back for one minute and before he knew it his friend was punching cereal boxes (still with cereal in them!) and M&M bags (still with M&M's in it) and anything else he could get his hands on! My poor little half stick of gum was a victim in the massacre. I had seen the evidence of the hole-punch-madness upstairs and forgave little brother and we both marveled at how perfectly the hole had been punched! I did not know it was even possible to hole punch gum.
"Hey that's my gum!"

Other activities of the week included playing sand volleyball! It was awesome and the sand was amazing, there was even a single street lamp up so we could play to our hearts content. Which really was only till about 10 p.m. as our toes were starting to become numb in the cold and slightly damp sand after playing in it for hours :) Friday was spent playing with my cousin and her dog Lucy. Our dogs had a play date and it was a blast. Tucker my cute black and white springer spaniel loved playing with Lucy her pitbull mix. Haha who knew they would get along so well. We took them for a walk where they were both loved and adored by the neighborhood kids, who grabbed their tails, and ears and tried to feed them dandelions! It was really cute and both the dogs did great with the kids. The walk was great, except poor Tucker cannot walk in a straight line to save his life (yeah that's all my fault, my problems become his problems!) so he kept bouncing of Lucy while weaving from side to side. It was quite comical. Lucy wised up a little and learned to weave with him instead of having him ram into her side every so often. We took them back to my house and let them run around the yard while we chatted. They were so funny to watch as they chased sticks, Tucker always ended up with it, and they played in the water, well Tucker mostly played in it and Lucy simply tried to get a drink. Turns out Tucker-Bug doesn't like to share his swimming pool! It was a great day and my cousin was so amazed that our dogs got along so well. She said Lucy normally doesn't get along with other dogs since she doesn't really know how to play with other dogs. I told her I guess it takes two socially awkward dogs to become friends!
Sand Volleyball!!
Saturday was spent doing housework and yard work. The original plan was to get the garden all planted. So we ripped up tarp, pulled weeds spread compost and got it all ready, only to find out the tiller was broken, so the garden will have to be finished up later. That's ok though, since little brother and I were both done working for the day and were not EVEN looking forward to laying more tarp and planting plants into the wee hours of the night. We both were rather exhausted. But it was great the time we were able to spend working together, little brother and I get along quite well and we had fun exchanging our tales of woe and what not. I swear by the time we finished hauling all the dirt/compost he was going to kill someone if I heard another motorcycle drive by. Every time I heard one drive by it made me quite sad and made me miss Mor-leidr (my BF) every time we heard one! But the day was successful non-the-less and it was the perfect day to be working outside. The night was finished off with partying with some friends. It was kind of a bittersweet party though, as one friend has just come home from his mission and my other friend just left to live in St. George forever. We all had a great time though and it gave me something to do after missing Mor-leidr. Sunday my family abandoned me and went for a drive to Bear Lake, so I did something better! I made JELL-O, which really isn't better, but it was a small consolation for staying home. So I punched stars and hearts in the JELL-O and took it over to share with my grandma. We had a great time walking around the place where she lives and I was really gald I went over to visit her, she was so happy I had come. Monday was spent cleaning my room some more, still, forever, never done! Afterwards my family and I went to go see my aunt and uncle's baby chicks. they were so cute and smelly, with the emphasis on both cute and smeally! Really soooo smelly, yeah cross chickens off the list of things to have someday. Ducks are still on the list though :-) So we played with the chicks for a while and then I talked my family into going over and seeing the baby cows. Little brother was able to find a friendly calf right off! The thing let him pet it, and tried to eat his fingers and everything. All the calves I were trying to be nice to were too scared to even come anywhere near me! Finally giving up and went over to share Little Brothers calf. It was so, so cute! It was sucking my fingers, and my arm, and my shirt, and even tried to eat my toes. Yeah I was covered in cow spit, snot, and hair by the time we finished. Totally worth it though as I was laughing my head off most of the time. Having a cow suck on your arm really is a very funny feeling. We finished the night off by going to see grandpa's horse Smokey. He came running right up to the fence! I'm so excited to go ridding this summer, which I plan to do often. He just needs to be shod and I'll be good to go whenever! Very much looking forward to that :-) also looking forward to going to Bear Lake next week! Yes!! We get to spend memorial day weekend there, not to mention I'll finally get to see Mor-leidr after him being gone for 2 weeks!! Since he is coming up there to visit! SOOO dang excited I cannot even wait! Sigh it'll be the weekend of Bear Lake and Boyfriends, does it get better than that? I think not:-)

In the Dog House i.e. Monday attacks!

Poor Boyfriend, who needs a nickname so I can stop just calling him boyfriend, I need something more creative than that. I'll call him Mor-leidr (it took me forever to finally decide what I wanted to call him!!) It means pirate in Welsh, pretty cool I think, and fitting since he is a sailor and everyone knows that all the best sailors are pirates, plus I love pirates. So anyway back to why Mor-leidr was in the dog house. First he believed that he got lucky and Monday had passed him by, since his Monday was great and felt surprisingly not like a Monday. Little did he know that Monday was coming back with a vengeance! Late Monday (real Monday) is when his case of the Monday's started, he had this giant pack of papers that he needed to print off to prepare for his busy week. His printer decided to not play nice, at all, so after spending forever working with it he finally gave up and went to bed. Tuesday (Monday with a vengeance) rolled around and still no luck with the printer, plus he didn't sleep very well and was very tired at work. Then the power went out! He still had a stack of work to do and did as much as he could before they sent him home. That had the potential to work to his advantage but Monday was not done with him, not even close! He stopped at the store to pick up some things he needed only to find that the store didn't have it and he would have to go to Layton to get them. Then he thought his luck was turning around when a guy called and wanted to buy his truck, but couldn't come see it till later that night. Luckily Mor-leidr was smart enough (so he thought) to tell him that wasn't possible since he had already made plans and had a date :-) They agreed to meet the next day. Date time rolls around and he comes to pick me up. Now we had decided the day before to see Thor, a group of our friends, not knowing our plans invited us to go see the 8:00 p.m showing with them. After talking it over we decided Mor-leidr needed some sleep and politely turned them down telling them we had actually already planned on seeing an earlier showing at 7 p.m. at the mall. Best Friends (We'll call them Meilleur and Catuli) were giving me a hard time since I haven't seen them for a while! I apologized and they both were disappointed but understood. Mor-leidr came and picked me up with just enough time to make it to the mall. Yet as we were driving down the road he informed me that his wingman wanted to double with us. I was alright with that, then he informed me that we were going to an later show, the 8 p.m., in fact we were going to the very same theater that our group of friends was going too............ WHAT! Ok that hit a bit of a nerve for a couple of reasons.
1. By telling our groups of friends "no" and then suddenly showing up with a different group of his friends sends the message that his friends are cooler than our friends and that we would rather be with them than the first group of friends that invited us!! That is a big NO-NO in my book. I have had that done to me several times and it sucks! I hated feeling like that and I would NEVER do that to my friends, and now suddenly I was going to be one of THOSE people!! I told him that I had to text Meilleur and Catuli immediately to explain to them why they were going to see me at the theater and why I wasn't with their group but another one instead. So that lead to reason
2. Which was, I was suddenly texting on a date and I DO NOT text on dates and try to keep my phone as concealed as possible when I am with Mor-leidr, because when I am with him I don't want to be rude and be on my phone.
 3. Then I found out that he told our group of friends "no' only AFTER he asked the "who is going to be there?" question. I HATE that question, really I do, if we are your friends what does it matter who is going to be there, either come because you want to be with us and play with us or don't come. It doesn't really matter who is going, cuz we are all friends.... right? I made him text the one in charge of setting up the movie and also explain to him why we were going to be there and why we weren't with them.Which made me think of reason
4. He had agreed to the whole double date thing without even asking if it was alright, which normally I am ok with, but it made me mad when it came after all the other things that happened. When I texted to do damage control Catuli was understanding when I told her I would see her. Meilleur was not so much, she has been in the same position of people showing up with other friends after turning you down position too and she hates it as much as I do. She was unhappy enough to call Mor-leidr a stupid poo face and that I should break up with him. She even almost ignored me when we saw them at the movie. Then to top it all off
5. The person we were doubling with didn't buy our tickets, so we didn't even end up sitting by them!!! Yup he was majorly in the dog house. Luckily he got me in there in time to see the previews, because if we had missed them he would be in even bigger trouble, and I'm not sure he could have survived that. Now normally things don't get to me very easily and I am a pretty understanding easy person, but all of these things combined really struck a nerve and Mor-leidr got the cold shoulder for quite a while, even when he took me to dinner before the movie. It was the first time he has ever seen me that mad. I kinda felt bad afterward that I had been so unhappy with him after his already bad day. So by the time we got into the theater I had forgiven him, he still kept looking at me through the whole movie and giving me the sheepish "are-we-ok" smile. Afterward he took me home and we talked for awhile and apologized and said our good nights.
But Monday was not quite done with him yet! So Wednesday (Monday's revenge part 2) he took work off so he could finish getting ready for his 2 week training thing with his job. His first line of business was to sell the aforementioned truck. He went out to get the truck to drive to SLC to meet the guy and dun dun dun, there was a flat tire! HA yes I really was laughing my head off when he told me this. Then when he met the guy there were more complications and hours later the truck was not sold and he had wasted his morning. That was followed by more complications with printers and what not, followed by him being late to pick me up. But I wasn't holding that against him. He already has had a rough couple of Mondays and it was our last night together before he left for 2 weeks. We went out for a really nice dinner at Maddox, I LOVE that place, he really spoils me sometimes. Then we went back to his house to feed the snakes and help him finish some last minute packing. Since he had to get up early the next morning he decided to take me home, he could tell I was a little sad and not quite ready to go, so he suggested we take a walk around the block together. :-) See even after his rough days he is still sweet and thoughtful. We walked around the neighborhood as the sun was setting and it was just starting to get cool. It really was nice and even though I was still a little sad it was great to spend that time together just talking and being together. He took me home and stayed a while then he finally really had to go. I know it was later than he was planning but it was our last time to talk and be together for 2 weeks. Really no texting, phone calls or anything. Hopefully it'll go by quick, and I know I'll stay busy, but still it'll be just a little strange to not see him or hear from him for so long when I'm now use to at least hearing from him everyday. But this will be a good time for me to kinda decide where I want this all to go and to kinda think about the future and things like that. So we will see how it goes and where everything goes from here.

"Even or Level?"

This weekend was a great weekend for me! Thursday was a BBQ/farewell party for a girl in my ward.My boyfriend came over and we made bean dip together to take to the party, neither of us has even made bean dip before so it was a very interesting experience, all I can say is I am really glad my family has a Vita-Mix which made mushing avocado a breeze! We then rode his motorcycle to the party, it was great, I love riding the motorcycle it is a blast to feel the wind and be out in the open like that, plus it is kinda fun to see peoples faces as they watch us drive by. Friday morning I joined the new shoe club! After being very jealous of my family getting new shoes, I went out and bought myself 2 new pairs of shoes. I also got my mom some mothers day gifts, a Sheri Dew CD collection and A piano CD of a guy called Josh Wright. The piano CD was bought in part because I am selfish and I really wanted to hear it. I'm terrible I know! But mom liked it too and was happy for it, it really is a beautiful CD, I am listening to it Wright now, Wright! Pooh bad pun I know but I couldn't help it. It really is a beautiful CD though, I love listening to piano music as I work on the computer.
Piano music just touches me in a way that clears my mind, motivates me, and make me feel calm and peaceful all at the same time. This is why I was also motivated to buy a Paul Cardol piano song book on my outing as well. Yeah I spent way too much on my outing, getting a pay check really goes to my head sometimes! That afternoon my family all got off work and out of school early so we could go see the Carl Bloch exhibit. My boyfriend even took work off early so he could go with us! We got down there and stood In line for a little while, the biggest line was the one for Ipads so we could have those to walk through the exhibit with. The lady behind us wanted to rent 11 of them and I was super glad we were in front of her! Walking through the exhibit was really neat. The paintings were absolutely beautiful and made me think a lot. About the symbolism and the meanings behind them, as well as about the Savior and my life. One picture in particular "Christ Healing the Sick at Bethesda" really made me think. It was mentioned how the man in the red hat is in between water and the Living Water, which is Christ, and he needs to make a choice of which to choose. It made me think about where I am in my life and the choices I have made and the choices I will make in my life.
It was a really neat experience all in all. Though little brother mentioned that he wished we had done it without the Ipads since we didn't really walk through it as a family. I agreed with him, but we were the only ones who thought that. everyone else was glad we had the Ipads. True they did have a lot of information. but it was almost too much info. and It was kinda sad to see all the people sitting around with their head phones on, looking almost more at the device on their lap than at the actual painting on the wall. They were isolated from each other and I felt the same, I really just wanted to read the signs and talk to my family about the paintings and I was glad and touched that my younger brother felt the same way. It was still a great experience though and we spent hours there learning. We also got to see this amazing exhibit that was a GIANT stack of books! It was really, really cool!!! Blew my mind away, 80,000 Lbs of books were in the sculpture, and it was fascinating. The sign said when the exhibit was over they were going to dismantle it and send to books to those in third world countries. After looking at the exhibits we had dinner with older brother and his wife. We got home about 11 or so and Boyfriend stayed a while we talked and discussed the paintings and the exhibit and life. It was really great, I love how we can just sit and talk to each other about anything and everything.
Those are books! (Photo from BYU website)

Saturday was a very busy day. I started the morning by going and doing a service project with my ward to fill the city sand volleyball courts with some awesome sand! We raked and leveled out the sand. Afterward we played several games of volleyball, really how could we not, the sand was perfect. We finally headed back to my house and helped build a fence in my backyard. Who knew that building a fence was so complicated! Dad was trying to decide if the fence should be all even or if he wanted it level, needless to say we were all confused. Though I can admit that the whole Even v. Level debate was my fault. He finally decided on having each section be level but not even with each other... I think. Anyway the job that my boyfriend and I did was to measure the brackets, flush the brackets, level the brackets, and finally screw the brackets onto the posts. Quite the complex procedure. We finished about 4 p.m. and he had to leave to go run some errands. The timing was good though since older brother and his wife got there just in time and we finished up putting up all the slats. That was a complex procedure too! Although it did not take near as long as what my boyfriend and I were doing. Finally we got the fence all finished up and we were all starving so we went out to dinner. We were then invited to go play the Kinect for a while at my boyfriend's house. We all played until we were too exhausted to move. Though I found out I really am the worst dancer of the family! I'll have to work on that, since my competitive side was not very happy as I was continually slaughtered time and time again by not only my boyfriend, but older brother, his wife, and even little brother! Totally not fair that little brother dances better than I do. Sunday was spent going to grandma's and having our family party. It's tradition to have our family party every second Sunday to celebrate birthdays and stuff. It was really a great time and I even got to spend a good amount of time chatting with my great grandma who is 98. She is hilarious and told me how she flirted with a guy with a giant mustache as she waited for her physical therapy session! It was great to spend the time talking with her, and I hope to get to visit with her more often during this summer. it was a great Sunday all in all and ended with my boyfriend stopping by which was great. So the weekend was busy, but very successful I even got a nice start to my summer tan... or burn! I'm still glowing and I have a very nice blister on the tip of my ear, whoops. That's what I get for depriving my body of sun all winter and for not wearing sunscreen.
